McAuliffe Manual develops and facilitates several travel opportunities for students to experience the greater world. These include Outdoor Education Camp (YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch), 8th grade trip to Washington D.C., and travel abroad.
Each May, McAuliffe Manual plans and facilitates an annual experiential learning trip to Snow Mountain Ranch (near Winter Park, CO). Students participate in outdoor activities such as archery, downhill tubing, rock climbing, community building around the camp fire and free recreation time.
We host an informational meeting for the YMCA trip in April. Parents/Guardians and their students are asked to acknowledge and sign our policy regarding student expectations for attending YMCA. You can access that policy letter here.
The projected total cost of the spring 2018 3-day/2-night trip, including all camp activities, food, lodging, and transportation to and from the camp on coach buses was $185. Financial Aid is available, please inquire with the front office.
