DPS Citywide Honor Band Events

P1030138Citywide Honor Band hosts nearly 300 band students, from elementary through high school. The Citywide band will culminate in an ultimate performance at 3pm on Jan 20th. These performance dates are al hosted at Manual High School.

Join us for any of these performances:
Sat, Jan 13th, 9am-4pm
Fri, Jan 19th, 9am-4:30pm
Sat., Jan. 20th, 9am-5pm

Manual Campus Open House

M2 jessica nad nick (1)Please join us for a special Open House on January 19th at 5:30 pm to learn more about Manual High School’s program. Learn about the Manual Difference, which includes a culture built on excellence, an innovative approach to teaching, and a community that supports the whole child. You’ll experience student presentations, a tour of our campus and a special performance by the performing arts departments of both McAuliffe Manual and Manual High School! Additionally, everyone who attends the Open House will receive free admission to the Manual vs Kent Denver basketball game at 7pm in the Thunderdome. Need more information? MMMS earns Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award

good workCongratulations McAuliffe Manual Middle School! We are one of the recipients of the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Awards, which are given to schools that demonstrate exceptional student growth. The award recognizes schools that “exceed” expectations” related to student academic progress and “meet or exceed expectations” related to academic growth gap indicators.

DPD Town Hall Meeting Tonight

We have planned an opportunity for you to connect with other community members in voicing your safety concerns and ask questions that you might have. DPD is hosting a town hall meeting at 7 pm, tonight (Dec 5). Join us at District 2 Police Station (3921 Holly St.) in the community room.

Spark Change starts today!

spark changeFor the next two weeks, students are encouraged to bring in donations for the Spark Change campaign. Donations are collected in Advisory. Students will select charities to receive the money after the donation campaign.  Advisories that meet challenge goals will be rewarded with awesome prizes. . .this week’s challenge is any advisory raising $30 or more by FRIDAY will get a treat during lunch next Monday!
