Trimester 1 report card conferences will take place Wed, 11/14, 4:30pm – 7:30pm and Thur 11/15, 8am – 10am. During these times, families can engage directly with teachers to ask questions and build connections. Please sign up for 10 minute slots to meet with the teachers you wish to see.
One of the aims for our report card conferences comes from the IB MYP program: promote positive student attitudes toward learning and encourage students as learners to reflect on the learning process (ibo.org). Report card conferences isn’t a time where we want students to be fixed in their thinking that they did good or bad this trimester, rather we want them to be a time where students think about where they are now, where they want to be, and what they are going to do to get there. Conferences will provide an opportunity for families and teachers to work together on establishing learning goals for the third trimester.
