McAuliffe Manual offers a 42-minute Enrichment block that occurs at the same time for all 6th-8th grade students. This best practice in scheduling offers an opportunity for students to engage in learning activities they want to explore. Enrichment gives students an opportunity to build perspective in an area of interest that typically wouldn’t be available during a regular school day.
We are always looking for viable community partnerships to grow our Enrichment program. We look for organizations and opportunities that are catered to the developmental needs of adolescent students and provide engaging curriculum that our students can relate to and enjoy. Some of our past and current partnerships include: Project Voice, SOS Outreach, Sources of Strength, and CareerSpark.
We are thrilled to have fun and engaging enrichment activities each day from 2:23-3:05. Students will be enrolled in 2 enrichment classes per quarter. Students choose their enrichment at the beginning of the school year at the enrichment fair, but take a look at the list below to get an idea of what will be offered!
